Wyvern Dragons Badminton Club
Wyvern Dragons Badminton Club formed in 1999 and has developed into a local club with two thriving youth groups and adult league level badminton, with two teams regularly competing each season.
We've reached a high level of standards across the club through our coaching, welfare and constitution, which have resulted in the hard work of our committee to enable the club to receive a Premier Club accreditation.
We remain a friendly club to the core, welcoming local players into a group that has members since 1999 and some that have joined only a few weeks ago.

The Coaches
James
Head Coach
James joined the club over two decades ago, as a 12 year old in the youth session, progressing to play adult level badminton, taking his level 1 and level 2 qualifications by the time he was 24. James leads the coaching for all three levels beginner, intermediate and transitional providing a clear pathway to success and ultimately adult level badminton.
The biggest motivator for James is to see players progress through the club as he has done and compete at adult level and league level. Seeing players return after University or moving back into the area is a wonderful experience and makes coaching really special. The club is hugely important to me, being a large part of my life for so long.
